About the Role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Intern with a strong foundation in Machine Learning and Computer Science to join our team in Summer 2025. This remote role is part of the Machine Learning Science team, which focuses on developing and maintaining machine learning models that support a wide range of business domains at Glassdoor.

As an intern, you will participate in the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, working on real-world projects. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for solving key ML problems or enhancing existing models. 

By the end of your internship, you will gain:

• Hands-on experience building large-scale ML models.
• A deeper understanding of Machine Learning concepts and their practical applications in a professional environment.
• The opportunity to deliver meaningful and impactful results to the business, its customers, and its users.

Hourly Pay: $40.00

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand requirements, gather relevant data, and translate business needs into machine learning problems.
• Engage in the full machine learning lifecycle, including designing, developing, feature engineering, training, and deploying models.
• Present your work by outlining your approach, key design decisions, results, and their business impact to the team.
• Contribute to team discussions and participate in paper presentations, promoting a culture of knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.

What You’ll Bring

• Currently enrolled in a graduate program (master or doctorate) in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or a related field.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.

Glassdoor Internship Program 

• 12 week virtual program where you'll manage projects and tasks, participate in engaging virtual events, and learn valuable skills!

• Full-time program (8 hours per day, 40 hours per week). 
• Fully remote: work almost anywhere within the United States. 
• Fully paid program and paid company holidays. 
• Two cohort dates: 
• May 27 - August 15, 2025
• June 2 - August 22, 2025
