About the Laboratory
Aboian Lab/ImagineQuantis seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual at the postdoctoral or bachelor level. The position will involve implementation and optimization of novel algorithms for analyzing brain tumor MRI imaging data and dynamic quantitative PET data. The aim of the research project is to optimize implementation of segmentation and classification algorithms for brain tumor patients into clinical practice with our industry collaborator Visage Imaging, our open science collaborative project BraTS, and to establish neuroimage processing group for animal research at CHOP. The ideal candidate will have mathematical and statistical expertise, along with natural curiosity and a creative mind. While performing image post-processing, evaluating algorithm efficiencies, and optimizing available AI algorithms, this person will be ateam member to a dynamic group of researchersand physiciansthat explore opportunities in open science, clinical practice workflow evaluation, and industry collaboration. As part of our team, the data scientist will accelerate incorporation of advanced PET/MRI imaging into clinical workflows within a leading pediatric hospital.Objectives of this role•Collaborate with clinical AI algorithm product design between clinicians, researchers, and industry•Enable smartclinical workflows in radiology by analytics for clinical data analysis•Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis•Communicate findings to team, collaborators within BraTS (Brain Tumor Segmentation Challenge), and at national and international conferencesWhat you will do
