The role
Are you a young professional ready to take the next step in your career and make a difference in the future of naval capabilities?
As an (Associate) Programme Manager – Maritime, you’ll have the opportunity to shape Helsing’s strategic partnerships and ambitious customer programmes that define the future of naval capabilities. Collaborate with industry partners, procurement agencies, and European navies to influence and execute the strategy, vision, and roadmap for current and future Ministry of Defence engagements and industry partnerships. Dive deep into understanding customer demands and evaluate potential collaboration opportunities with navies and the defence sector.
At Helsing, you’ll work alongside a distinctive team of diverse experts, redefining the use of software and AI in defence, national security, and intelligence. You’ll have the chance to strengthen industry and customer relationships while learning from leading experts in the field.
The day-to-day
- Engage, design, and implement strategies and programs that drive customer engagements and industry partnerships.
- Detect market trends and client needs to foster new business opportunities.
- Lead strategic campaigns, ensuring their success aligns with Helsing’s overarching goals.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams at the intersection of technical and commercial functions to achieve project success.
You should apply if you
We are looking for driven young professionals who have:
- 2-3 years of experience in the defence sector, public sector, or consultancy.
- A background in project/programme management, change management, or innovation management.
- Preferably, experience in the maritime industry, navy, or maritime research institutions.
- A university degree (or equivalent experience) in fields such as (Aerospace) Engineering, Business Administration, Political Science, or Data Science.
- A proactive and high-performance approach to thrive in fast-paced environments.
- A collaborative, humble mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for delivering critical software-based capabilities to operators.
- Motivation to set and maintain high standards in project execution and communication.
