The Role:

Are you a recent graduate or early-career software engineer looking to work on cutting-edge technology? At Neo4j, we build the world’s leading graph database, empowering organizations to unlock insights and drive innovation. We are now looking for talented engineers to join us at the start of their careers, where you can work on exciting and challenging projects in our engineering teams.

This role is designed for soon-to-be or recent graduates and early-career engineers (0-2 years of experience) passionate about software development and eager to make an impact. You will work in a collaborative environment, solving complex problems and contributing to the next generation of graph technology.

At Neo4j, our engineering teams work across a variety of areas, from advancing the core database and distributed systems to building powerful cloud services and AI tools. You might find yourself working on the inner workings of our graph database, optimizing performance and scalability, or tackling challenges in distributed systems to ensure reliability at scale. Some teams focus on enhancing developer tooling, making it easier for engineers to build with Neo4j, while others work on data visualization, creating intuitive ways to explore and interact with graph data. Our cloud services and operations teams ensure that Neo4j runs seamlessly in the cloud, delivering a fully managed experience through Neo4j Aura.

What we look for

• A Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a relevant technical field.
• A passion for problem-solving, algorithms, and system design.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of the technologies listed above.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from experienced engineers
