This is an entrepreneurial and global role in an innovative international team.Wholesale Banking Analytics (WBA) has the purpose to build data-driven products that benefit ING’s clients and the bank. Within a tribe of around 140 talented people: engineers, data scientists, UXers and product managers, we build next-gen solutions that make the wholesale bank more data driven and innovative.What your day looks like!Any given day will be different, but one might look like this: Start off the day with the daily standup with your product squad. Afterwards you work with them planning and defining the upcoming experiments. The next meeting is with UXer, who wants to run through his latest research results with you. This will be important input for you to prioritize the backlog for upcoming sprint.You go for lunch with the hot AI Fintech that is using voice data to predict trading behavior, who you spotted coming out of a Startup Accelerator. Then, you run a workshop with a team that has been thinking about an AI-related idea and help them work it out into a concrete AI challenge. This could be a project for our upcoming experiment week.This evening you are presenting at an AI Meetup that attracts the best AI minds in the city… or you call it a day and spend some quality private time to keep a healthy balance between focus, rest and other things.Responsibilities•Product discovery: identify (data) problems, prioritize idea backlog and design and execute experiments to determine what problems need solving•Work with a squad of Data Scientists, UXers, and Engineers to discover the potential of a product idea, the user problem (user research) and validate and prototype•Manage the execution and delivery of data-driven products so that they generate significant value for ING and its customers•Create value propositions, vision, roadmap and product/domain strategy•Good understanding of innovation and product management methodologies such as Lean, Agile and Design Thinking•Ability to develop structured product concepts from abstract ideas and lead prototyping•Demonstrate thought leadership internally and externally•Data and metrics backed decision making, with solid and measurable OKRs•Understanding and enthusiasm for technology, advanced analytics and data science methodsHow to succeedWe hire smart people like you for your potential.
