Job Description
Technical Instructional Designer (Contract)
We are looking for a technically savvy instructional designer to join the Sigma technical writing team to build self-service educational resources for our customers. If you are an action-oriented individual who is well-grounded in instructional design principles and looking for an opportunity to build something new, we want to talk to you.
In this role, you will become a Sigma product expert as you design and build modular, hands-on tutorials that help others build their own confidence and expertise. You'll build directly in the Sigma product – no slides, no LMS. Join a cross-functional team of enthusiastic, data–driven writers, enablement specialists, and technical support engineers to develop innovative and effective learning resources you'll put front and center in your portfolio.
This is a 6 month contract position based in our San Francisco or New York office (hybrid, 4 days a week in office). This position offers the potential for conversion to a full-time role upon the successful completion of the contract period, based on performance and business needs.
Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume, a cover letter highlighting their relevant experience, and a portfolio of instructional design work that features projects that teach how to use technical tools.
The pay range for this position is $65/hr - $85/hr per hour.
