As a member (m/f/d) of senior management at Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation, you will be responsible for the field of vehicle-related software development (business stream car embedded on/off board) in terms of both disciplinary and business management aspects.
Together with your team and various business units of Mercedes-Benz AG, you will develop a future-proof departmental strategy, integrate modern technologies and clarify objectives and cooperation models in order to create a consensus-capable overall picture.
You work closely with business partners (m/f/d) and adjacent streams within the Mercedes-Benz Tech innovation and the global home of tech network. Together, she develops software products using state-of-the-art processes, methods and technologies.
Together with your team, you are driving forward the incremental and radical technological progress for Mercedes-Benz AG.
As a business stream lead (m/f/d), you position Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation as the leading technological experts in the fields of autonomous driving, cloud platforms, control unit development, infotainment & UI, KI-supported development environments, etc.
As a member (m/f/d) of decision-making bodies you represent Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation and Home of Tech within Mercedes-Benz AG and actively contribute to groundbreaking technology decisions.
You have several years of relevant professional experience in IT-specific corporate roles and extensive managerial experience in an international context, as well as practical experience in software development in modern organizations.
In-depth knowledge of the business fundamentals of business management characterizes you.
You are a know-how carrier (m/f/d) in at least one of our key areas, such as autonomous driving, cloud platforms, control unit development, infotainment & UI, KI-supported development environments, Electric Charging Experience & Vehicle2Grid, Over-the-Air Software updates, Connectivity or Ideas & Innovative Knowledge.
You combine modern leadership, a results-oriented mindset and an open personality to inspire and empower teams, as well as the will to succeed in inspiring and advancing your environment.
The role as business stream lead (m/f/d) requires a certain degree of willingness to travel, especially to our tech hubs in Malaysia, Turkey, Spain and India.
Business-level written and spoken German and English are required.
