As a Assistant Manager in Tax Knowledge Management (part of Digital Experience & Marketing Team), you will oversee the organization and execution of knowledge-sharing initiatives within the offshore Tax Knowledge Management team. This role requires an understanding of knowledge management, technical expertise in platforms like SharePoint and Power BI, and leadership capabilities to manage an offshore team. You will be responsible for working with our onshore Tax Knowledge Management team optimizing knowledge repositories, ensuring effective content distribution, driving process enhancements, and leveraging digital tools like generative AI to improve efficiency. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to team members, fostering collaboration between onshore and offshore teams to maintain a seamless knowledge management ecosystem.
- Lead the offshore Tax Knowledge Management team consultants, overseeing content organization, repository structure, and overall knowledge-sharing processes.
- Enhance knowledge management capabilities within the Tax Knowledge Management team, ensuring alignment with US business needs.
- Supervise SharePoint administration of team, including metadata tagging and governance to ensure streamlined content accessibility.
- Oversee content sanitization efforts, ensuring that tax-related materials are updated and properly structured for content ingestion into our generative AI tools.
- Manage the integration of generative AI tools to automate routine content updates and optimize knowledge-sharing processes.
- Drive the development and distribution of internal communication channels such as newsletters, internal announcements, and MS Teams updates.
- Analyze and interpret data using Power BI to track repository usage, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
- Oversee audits of OneSearch and Lead Tax Partner Dashboard links to ensure data accuracy and database hygiene.
- Review all reporting prepared by offshore for onshore review.
- Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices for content organization.
- Manage and support the offshore team by ensuring clear communication, proper training, and smooth collaboration with onshore colleagues.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives, continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure compliance with firm-wide knowledge management policies and industry best practices.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Extensive experience with knowledge management tools, including Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives.
- Expertise in metadata tagging, and content auditing to maintain data integrity.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and translate into actionable insights for management.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities, and commitment to continuous improvement.
