Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Development: Design and develop comprehensive learning programs that align with business goals and technical competencies required in digital engineering. Conduct research to understand the technical needs of the learners and the requirements of the Job market. Gather input from the Stakeholders such as Domain Leaders, Training Leaders, SMEs and industry experts. Identify and select relevant content that aligns with learning standards and objectives.
- Learning Strategy: Collaborate with leadership to define learning strategies that support organizational objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning. Define clear, measurable learning objectives that align with the Organizational standards and objectives. Select appropriate learning methodologies (Instructor Led, E-Learning, Discussions and Hands on exercises), incorporate active learning techniques to engage learners and promote critical thinking. Identify and utilize various resources such as online books, digital tools and multimedia content. Use assessment data to inform instructional decisions and improve learning strategies. Provide personalized learning experience to ensure that all learners can achieve their potential.
- Content Creation: Create high-quality instructional materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and assessments, utilizing various multimedia tools and technologies. Generate ideas based on audiences interests, market trends, and strategic goals. Outline the structure and format of the content. Create a content calendar to schedule and organize content development and roll out plan with a timeline to complete.
- Needs Analysis: Conduct training need assessments to identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate learning solutions. Engage with stakeholders such as employees, Leaders, Learners – gather quantative and qualitative data through various methods such as surveys, interviews, focus group meetings and observations. Analyze the collected data to identify patterns, trends and key issues. Compare the current state versus the desired outcomes to identify gaps. Prioritize the needs basis on their impact and urgency.
- Evaluation and Improvement: Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve learning experiences based on feedback and performance metrics. Analyze the collected data to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Summarize the evaluation in a clear and concise report, communicate findings to stakeholders and Learning Leaders. Highlight specific area, where performance can be enhanced. Creating detailed action plans that outline the steps needed to address identified issues.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and HR, to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with business needs. Identify all relevant stakeholders including those who are directly or indirectly affected by the project or decision. Understand stakeholders’ needs, expectations, and potential impact on the project. Develop clear and effective communication channels to keep stakeholders informed. Ensure transparency and openness in all communications.
- Technology Integration: Leverage learning technologies and platforms to enhance the delivery and accessibility of training programs. Preparing Learning consumption reports and leader boards for the Stakeholders. Ensure the availability of necessary hardware, software and network resources. Facilitate collaboration and communication through digital platforms and tools. Promote inclusive practices that leverage technology to support diverse needs. Integrate Ai and Analytics tools to improve overall Learning and development operations for the Organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, learning, and HR, to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with business needs. Identify all stakeholders who are directly or indirectly involved with the Project or decision. Categorize stakeholders based on their needs and level of influence and interest. Design tailored engagement strategies to involve stakeholders appropriately. Encourage active participation and collaboration among stakeholders. Build partnerships and alliances to support project goals.
Qualifications
Key Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years’ experience in instructional design, technical training, or a related field, preferably within the tech industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate), Learning Management Systems (LMS), and multimedia production.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess training needs and measure program effectiveness.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
