About the Role
As the Head of Industry Architects you will be responsible for leading and empowering a team of highly skilled Architects and partnering with Strategic Account Teams as well as Business Advisors and Solution specialists in the South EMEA region (Italy, Iberia, Eastern Europe, Africa, Middle East). This role reports into the Chief Customer Officer, South EMEA and will lead an industry-first technical sales motion, unlocking customer success on the Salesforce Platform across various industry verticals, within the larger Customer-centric sales motion promoted by the CCO organization. Your Mission
As the Head of Industry Architects, you’ll:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Industry Architects.
Align team objectives with the growth strategies set by the Chief Customer Officer, in coordination with the South EMEA OU’s Sales Leadership, Account Teams and Solution Engineering teams.
Foster strong collaborations with GTM stakeholders, including Account Executives, other CCO teams (Strategic Account Advisors. Industry Advisors), Solutions Engineers, Product Marketing, and Product Management.
Leverage your technical expertise to provide subject matter support during the sales process.
Develop repeatable GTM motions around an industry-first architecture approach, inclusive of enablement content, technical resources and best practices.
Work closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to design and update industry solution architecture blueprints that meet customers requirements and success criteria.
Play a crucial role in shaping the Product Roadmap by sharing customer feedback and innovative ideas.
Maintain a deep understanding of Data, Integrations, Analytics & BI, CRM, and AI Agents.
Effectively communicate our industry solution architectures and tradeoffs to potential clients.
Stay informed about data & AI technology trends and their implications for our clients' businesses.
What We’re Looking For
Proven Expertise: 10+ years of enterprise consulting experience and 5+ years working/leading business and solution consulting teams in Enterprise Technology, with a deep understanding of Salesforce solutions and enterprise IT landscapes.
Technical Mastery: Expertise in enterprise application integration, cloud architecture principles (SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy), and Salesforce platform domains (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce).
Strategic Vision: Experience defining system architecture, optimizing business processes, and aligning technology strategies with organizational goals.
Influential Leadership: A proven ability to manage virtual teams, deliver enablement at scale, and inspire a community of architects.
Exceptional Communication: Outstanding presentation and facilitation skills to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to clients and prospective clients at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in Data, Marketing, Advertising, and Customer Relationship Management concepts.
Familiarity with technology trends impacting clients' businesses.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration or equivalent work experience. MBA a strong plus
Proven ability to analyze complex business problems, generate innovative ideas, identify opportunities, and recommend actionable solutions.
