The Hiring Manager says:
The unique and growing data assets in JD Power have the potential to drive solutions to problems that have existed for a very long time. Part of the difficulty in selling these solutions is that the problems are so old, that many at the client no longer so them as problems but just part of the nature of the business.
Skill #1: An important part of this role is to be able to find the right people inside the client who are both influential but also open to see the opportunities in new solutions. In early stages we will not have a turn key solution because each client will require something "tuned" for their organization. This means we have to sell a very rough demo or a concept. The person who will be successful has to have that skill to both understand the solutions to complex problems and adapt the explanation to the person(s) that they are selling the idea to.
Skill #2: Working with our internal team of technically skilled people to create a proof of concept or an adaptation of an existing demo for follow up meetings or boot camps with prospective clients to get to a "Yes".
