We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with hands-on experience solving problems in environmental systems and digital agriculture.

What You’ll Do:

• Drive science focused solutions for digital agriculture products.
• Develop, prototype, and implement production capable solutions with engineering and software teams.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to share results and capabilities. Engage with these partners to gather feedback and requirements for tailored solutions.
• Serve as a technical and subject matter resource for our data science and data engineering community.
• Uphold Corteva Agriscience™ Core Values at all times.

What Skills You Need:

• Demonstrated experience using computer vision, machine learning, data mining, statistical methodology, and simulation modeling in geospatial, environmental, and agronomic problems.
• Excellent Python coding skill.
• Familiarity with data orchestration and lakehouse technology stacks for the development and publication of data products.
• Facility with cloud compute frameworks in Linux environments.
• Strong skills in Git-based CI/CD workflows to build reproducible and tested code driven solutions. An ability to support others in using and learning these tools.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced collaborative team setting.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A PhD and demonstrated accomplishment with quantitative applications in Soil Science, Agronomy/Plant Sciences, or related fields.

The salary range for this position is $113,470.00 to $141,840.00.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
