"IA y Música: Cátedra en Inteligencia Artificial y Música" (TSI-100929-2023-1) project.
The position will carry out research activities for the development of new AI methodologies of interest for music education in the frame of the project Chair on AI and Music.
Within the project Chair on AI and Music, the candidate will participate in the following activities:
Teaching, supervising and participation in training activities within the frame of the project, involving master and PhD students (PT1-A1, A2, A3)
Conduct research that allows the development of new AI methodologies based on deep learning to assist the different processes involved in music education. Specifically, she/he will work on: (1) analysis of musical interpretations, (2) development of musical skills. (PT2-A6)
Improve existing datasets and create new ones useful for deep learning models (PT3-A8)
Career Stage: Experienced researcher or 4-10 yrs (Post graduate)
Research Profiles: Recognised Researcher (R2) (PhD holders or equivalent who are not yet fully independent)

1. Academic background: 0-20 points. PhD in engineering, computer science or related fields Specialization in music technology 2. Professional experience/Adaptation to the proposed profile: 0-60 points. Research experience in music technology, especially related to the areas of music understanding and music information retrieval Experience in managing large data collections Experience in teaching and students supervising 3. Other merits: 0-20 points. Languages (Spanish, English). Ability to work independently as part of a team. The minimum score to pass the selection process is: 70 points
