This role will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based systems, including Amazon Connect, Generative AI and Core Services. The successful candidate will specialize in designing and migrating contact centre solutions for large businesses into the cloud.
Responsibilities:
Architect and develop AWS Connect solutions, including integration to third party applications
Assist in cloud engineering tasks and projects, supporting project success
Customer Presentations and Demonstrations
Assist in Pre-Sales solutioning for AWS Connect / Contact Centre solutions
Collaborate with team members to implement cloud solutions and best practices
Guide and mentor team members
Participate in cloud training programs and certification coursework
Contribute to troubleshooting and support tasks
Stay informed about cloud technology updates and industry trends
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Relevant experience, typically 7+ years of experience in software engineering or VOIP / Telecom industry
Experience with AWS Connect / Contact Centre and Call flow methodologies
API Integrations with 3rd party apps, such as Salesforce
Front End and Backend Development working knowledge a plus
Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
Coding and debugging skills – Python, React or other applicable language
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform and / or Cloudformation / AWS CDK
Familiar with AWS Pipeline Deployment methods
Familiar with GitHub or other similar service
Pre-Sales knowledge / Cost Modeling
Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork
Relevant AWS cloud certifications and experience – AWS Architecture, DevOps or Developer
