Your Role

Aptiv Driver Monitoring System SW Engineer role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology. In your daily job you will:

• Analyze internal & external customer requirements to come up with a software strategy to achieve project goals.
• Create and document software design meeting requirements using UML
• Write robust and reusable high-level software code ADMS features.
• Use C, C++, languages & Computer Vision skills to work  on  acquiring, processing, analyzing digital Image on a different of target platforms including PCs and embedded SoCs.
• Develop, enhance & maintain OpenCV and Image processing pipelines for product development.
• Define unit tests and software test strategy
• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with industry quality standards

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
• #EXP[4-8]
• 4+ years of experience writing software using C, C++ and/or Python
• Have worked in Agile development team & environment.
• 4+Experience with machine learning, computer vision, image processing, and cameras 
• OpenCV development experience, any Technologies you Prefer
• Familiarity with software development processes (CI/CD, Automotive SPICE) and tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Polarion, GIT, etc.)
• Experience with Linux or QNX: configuration, command line usage, shell scripting, etc.
• Familiarity with software modeling in UML using tools such as Enterprise Architect
• Preferred algorithm Experience on Optical flow, SIFT,HOG, etc.
