Our Team

The Role

We’re looking for a full stack developer to help us build our new real time intelligence platform to best in class. You will have the opportunity to work in a small, agile team developing features across the entire product journey, contributing to idea generation, design, prototyping, and the delivery of production-ready solutions.

You'll contribute high-quality code to enable Polysentry to deploy products to major institutions in the public and private sector. The foundational capabilities that you build will power our products used by research scientists, aerospace engineers, intelligence analysts, economic forecasters, and many others.

Responsibilities

Architect, develop, and ship features that users love.
Collaborate with a small yet talented team of engineers and designers to define the short and long-term vision for the product.
Distill product requirements into tangible engineering tasks and feature designs.

Requirements

Passionate about functional programming, built some personal or professional projects in Elixir.
Ability to produce simple and clean HTML.
Interested in distributed systems and concurrent programming.
Basic understanding of CI/CD process.
Basic knowledge about Postgresql.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, UI designers, and stakeholders to deliver cohesive design solutions.
U.S. Citizenship.

Nice to Have

Interest in NLP (Natural Language Processing), LLMs (Large Language Models), or Machine Learning.
Familiarity with Tailwind CSS.
Experience with Elasticsearch.
Understanding of Distributed Erlang.
Knowledge of Python.
Experience with REST APIs.
Strong attention to detail in UI.
