Job Description
Java based MuleSoft, microservices based architecture hosted within cloud-based architecture getting the high-level business requirements from Lucid Chart/Visio to then design API specs.
Must know web technologies, deal with websites (Apache, serverless architecture with AWS or Azure, some front-end with React/Angular and how they connect to the back end/data sources).
MuleSoft is nice but isn’t required; he’s open to other process flow microservices frameworks (i.e., Spring Boot). Need to understand how the infrastructure works to support the best solutions in either serverless, back-end, file dumps.
Manager has a high preference for anyone that has experience with web/mobile apps, API integration (any type), and cloud experience.
If they don’t have web/mobile app experience they won’t be a fit. Will not be required to code but need to be fresh enough to do a PoC. Any coding experience is needed; doesn’t matter what language.
Will need to be on-site 4 days a week – NO FLEX.
Flexible hours, but typically 9-4; can arrive or leave earlier depending on the day. Definition of success: spectacular logic & reasoning skills, jump in and develop the logic to support.
This has been the biggest roadblock, minor hand holding. Industry background doesn’t really matter but would like to see someone with e-com or restaurant experience to make life easier.
Wouldn’t need to do any code reviews – the tech leads are responsible for that.
Conversion salary: 150-170K.
Interview process: immediately 1st round with Fedil/Romeo Francis (Enterprise Architect), 2nd round with other architects on team.
Must be willing to go on-site 4 days a week; Monday through Thursday.
This role will document and architect solutions for integrations with existing systems as well as design new microservices using industry best practices.
This will include handling new and existing integration with downstream systems, overall API spec design, new and existing system design, and networking design.
This role works closely with tech leads to make sure code meets design and tech requirements.
