Job Description
The Patrick J. McGovern Foundation (PJMF) is a philanthropic organization dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence and data science solutions to create a thriving, equitable, and sustainable future for all. PJMF works in partnership with public, private, and social institutions to drive progress on our most pressing challenges, including digital health, climate change, broad digital access, and data maturity in the social sector.
We are looking for an early career Project Management Associate to join PJMF to assist in the seamless execution of AI-based product development and deployment. The Associate will gain hands-on project management experience in the field of AI and data science while working alongside a diverse and passionate team of technologists. The charter of the Products and Services team is to identify, develop and deploy strategic data and AI solutions focused on unlocking opportunities and addressing broad challenges the social good sector is facing now and in the near future. In this role, you will help them accomplish this goal by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization and by ensuring projects align with timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.
The Project Management Associate will also be a part of the Rising Leaders Program. This two-year professional experience provides exposure across the Foundation and the broader field of philanthropy while providing a holistic professional experience centered on mutual learning, growth, and innovation. The Associate cohort will take part in a leadership-oriented curriculum that will equip them with the necessary skills to advance a career in social impact, whether in philanthropy or the broader civil society. Over the course of your tenure, our team will work with you to identify the next step in your career journey, and upon completion of the program, PJMF will work to support you to continue a legacy of social impact beyond PJMF.
$65,000 - $70,000 a year
PJMF is committed to fair and transparent compensation practices. Our salary ranges are informed by market data from peer organizations in our sector. Our salaries are competitive and equitable and align with peers in the same job group. Final offers are determined by the scope of the position, the candidate's relevant experience, and internal equity. Because salary ranges are small and the internal parity review is thorough, offers are firm.
Application Deadline: March 1, 2025
Employment Dates: June 1, 2025 - June 2027
We look forward to receiving your application and learning more about your vision, potential, and commitment to using AI, technology, and social impact to address critical global challenges.
