ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary:
As a Project Manager at OTG, you will be responsible for driving product initiatives from inception through execution. In this role you will collaborate closely with designers, software engineers, operations, and other cross-functional team members within the organization to ensure that our products are at the top of our industry. This individual will work with other project/ product managers to define the product strategy, develop the product road map, identify product requirements, collaborate with product development on implementation, and then take the product to market.
Responsibilities:
- Define the end-to-end customer experience/user experience, interacting with helpdesk support, access to documentation, etc.- to create the best possible customer ecosystem that drives satisfaction, efficiency, maximum product utilization, and revenue
- Lead the full product life cycle for products or services covering concept, specification, design, launch, and enhancement phases
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures and meetings
- Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings
- Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings
- Providing administrative support as needed
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Work closely with QA to both test and understand our products as a whole
- Work closely with training and development to lead training and efficiencies within the organization
- Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards
- Help manage technology outsourcing activities including RFP’s, evaluating pricing and technology solutions offerings
- Define success metrics
- Design functional specifications and make feature, resource, and timeline tradeoff decisions
- As part of a small product team, you will be doing some project management as well including-scrum management, Jira ticket writing etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2 years working in a product management capacity, specifically for customer facing products, managing the development of self-service interfaces and/or workflow automation
- Track record of being a customer advocate that can translate customer behavior, needs, and wants into thoughtful strategy and design
- Experience managing products in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Jira or other project management tools
- Competency in all Microsoft applications
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects while meeting aggressive deadlines in a fast-paced environment, including ability to manage multiple project resources with extensive project planning and execution skills
- Experience working within a software organization/ tech team is a strong plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
- Proven ability to build consensus, motivate and manage IT specific projects/ products
- Strong attention to detail while also working towards high level strategic objectives
- Experience in managing large-scale, complex projects
- Experience in leading inter-organization change to increase efficiency through the implementation of technology
- Must have excellent analytical and research skills
- High integrity, work ethic, passion, and commitment to OTG values
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
