This Robotics Software Engineer role performs system analysis, identifies improvements and develops novel algorithms and embedded software for real-time motion and path planning of articulated robots. You will be a key contributor to the product development process, including feasibility and prototyping, design and development, and technical reviews. This is the right opportunity for you if you: Have strong programming skills in a real-time operating system environments in C/C++. Have 5+ years of practical and/or theoretical knowledge of: Kinematics, dynamics, and control of multi degree of freedom robotic arm; computational optimization of trajectory generation and path planning in 3D environments. Have strong understanding of hardware, software and electromechanical system integration. Desire to translate robotics algorithms from academic papers into robust, production-quality code. Preferred qualifications: Have designed and implemented real-time control algorithms for articulated robot systems. Experience with ROS2 or other robotics framework. Have experience in AI for robot modeling and intelligent control, or have innovative ideas to reinvent traditional 6DoF robot path planning.
