Job Description
Job Responsibilities:• Develop comprehensive test plans, testing strategies, and frameworks for software testing.• Review and adjust the test strategy to accommodate new information, changing risks, and shifting priorities.• Implement 70% automated testing and 30% manual testing in the testing environment.• Oversee the quality review of various applications to ensure on-time delivery with maximum quality and minimal bugs.• Manage the execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests.• Create and maintain test data and documentation.• Test complex API, web, and mobile applications, including those referencing database back-end systems.• Assist in formulating QA standards, best practices, organizational policies, and processes.• Understand business use cases/user stories to develop comprehensive test cases.• Participate in the review and analysis of business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents.• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure system components are designed for testability.• Identify and suggest ways to improve business and software.• Follow the product development life cycle from idea to maintenance.
Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.• 3-5 years of relevant software testing experience and at least one year of team-leading experience.• Strong Verbal and written communication• Able to drive meetings independently.• Good working knowledge of Manual Testing (Web and Mobile on both iOS and Android).• Knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium & Appium with any programming language) is a plus.• Solid understanding of QA testing methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation.• Knowledge of API testing, performance testing• Working experience with web-based user interfaces, mobile applications, and APIs using tools like Postman.• Experience or willingness to learn tools & technologies: SQL, RestAssured, Swager, SOAP UI, Postman, Selenium.• Experience working in an Agile framework.• Strong intellectual curiosity.
