CurieTech AI is developing AI coding agents specifically for enterprise IT teams to help in IT integrations. We're seeking a Developer Advocate to join us at a pivotal time in our growth. In this founding DevRel role, you'll build and nurture our technical community while serving as the bridge between our users and our product team. The OpportunityWe're seeking a Developer Advocate to join us at a pivotal time in our growth. In this founding DevRel role, you'll build and nurture our technical community while serving as the bridge between our users and our product team. You'll help shape our community strategy, create compelling technical content, and be the public face of CurieTech AI at events and in industry conversations.
The ideal candidate will have a background in AI/ML and a passion for educating technical audiences. You'll engage with our growing community of MuleSoft developers, helping them understand and fully leverage our AI agents to transform their integration development workflows.
What You'll DoCommunity Building & Support (40%)• Set up and manage CurieTech AI's Slack community, ensuring product questions are answered promptly and technical discussions are valuable• Create a welcoming environment for new users and foster peer-to-peer knowledge sharing• Monitor external MuleSoft/DataWeave communities and forums to identify relevant conversations and engage on CurieTech AI's behalf• Carry out and iterate on our community playbook, including technical support and content creation• Track community health metrics and optimize engagement strategiesContent Creation (40%)• Develop a range of technical content including tutorials, blog posts, use case demonstrations, and video content• Create educational resources that showcase how to effectively use CurieTech AI's agents• Build sample projects and proof-of-concept demos that highlight real-world applications• Author weekly product tips and biweekly educational content for the community• Maintain a consistent content calendar and measure content effectivenessAdvocacy & Thought Leadership (20%)Represent CurieTech AI at industry events, webinars, and MuleSoft community gatheringsBuild relationships with key influencers and decision-makers in the MuleSoft ecosystemCollaborate with the product team to prioritize feature requests and incorporate community feedbackCollaborate with our marketing team to develop customer quotes & stories showcasing the expertise of our community membersHost virtual meetups, AMAs, and other community eventsEstablish yourself as a thought leader in the AI agent and integration space
What We're Looking ForTechnical Skills• Experience with AI/ML technologies; familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents is highly desirable• Strong technical background with hands-on development experience• Willingness to learn MuleSoft Anypoint Studio, DataWeave, and related integrations (direct experience is a plus but not required)• Experience building and using developer toolsCommunication & Content Creation• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly• Experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, documentation, etc.)• Comfortable presenting to technical audiences and leading community discussions• Proven track record of building an audience or community through contentCommunity Management• Experience managing technical communities or participating actively in them• Understanding of community metrics and how to foster healthy engagement• Empathy for developer needs and pain points• Ability to gather and synthesize user feedback effectivelyPersonality & Approach• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-growing startup• Genuine enthusiasm for AI technology and its practical applications• Passion for helping others succeed with technology
Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field• 3-5 years of experience in technical roles• At least 1-2 years in developer relations, advocacy, technical marketing, or similar community-facing roles• Strong programming skills and the ability to rapidly prototype ideas using AI agents and tools• Experience with content creation platforms and community management tools• Excellent communication and presentation skills
