Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join our technical team. This is a remote unpaid internship for 6-8 weeks, with opportunities for close collaboration and real product launch impact. You’ll work closely with a small, supportive team to help build and test key parts of our early product. This is a great opportunity to apply what you’ve learned in class to a real-world startup project, while learning how products are built from the ground up.

Responsibilities include:1.Contributing to software development (frontend, backend, or full stack depending on your strengths)2.Assisting in the design and implementation of platform features such as: user login, item listing, booking system, credit/penalty system, and transaction logic3.Writing clean, maintainable code using OOP principles4.Collaborating with other developers and product designers in an agile environment5.Participating in technical discussions and weekly sprint reviews6.Testing and deploying your code on live platforms (e.g. Vercel, Heroku)

Qualifications1.Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field2.Familiar with at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Java3.Eager to learn web development frameworks such as React, Flask, or Node.js (experience is a plus but not required)4.Understanding of basic Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles5.Able to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team6.Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and passionate about building real-world products7.Bonus: any prior project experience (school projects, hackathons, personal websites, etc.)
